I was not planned, but I was the BEST gift. My mom was in 4th year college when she met my dad. They don’t have any connections like a friend, text mate, classmate, blind date, chat mate, or whatever mate is that. It just happens. Or shall I say, it’s meant to be. My mom told me, I was created in the month of March 2007. She graduated also on the same date. Curious? Yes, you’re right. I’m not shy, but it’s true. They make love during her school days without thinking any results it may take. But my parents don’t feel any regrets or blamed nobody but himself or herself. As months goes by, and of course monthly stage is developing inside of me in my mom’s womb. My mom and dad thought that I am there little boy to be but they went to an ultrasound clinic and found out that it was 85% girl. The thought was made for my mom’s physical appearance really changed. As some ordinary mom whose at the stage of being “maselan sa paglilihi” was experienced by my mom too. She thought that the morning sickness’, irritations and everything has no end. “Thanks to Anmum”, my mom said. Funny right? But it’s true. After drinking Anmum regularly, eating foods she likes is easy for her to eat. From one to six months, my mom is working while pregnant. She’s teaching college students and that is why I’m studying too at my early stage. Why did I say so? Because while she is reviewing her lessons I, myself is learning. That is how mom-child relationship was while inside the womb. In the month of September, my mom stop working. She focuses on us but no only me and my dad. She kept on reading baby’s site for more information about my development. Actually, she joined at http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com for posting my picture in that website as one of the cutest babies in the world. And now, here comes the month of December 2007. It’s my mom’s birthday but I’m still inside her womb. Expecting me to come out on her birthday week but I don’t like yet. My mom wants to give birth before Christmas that is why she kept on doing her exercise, which is walking as far as she can together with y dad and my cousin Dagul. On the 13th of the same month and year, at 5:47 PM, a little cutie angel was born and delivered normally. Weighing 7 lbs and a healthy baby girl named Alleah Kris. My lolo and lola was very eager to see me. At last, I came out. It was my lola who took good care of me while my mom was on the stage of healing wounds brought by me. I was the Best gift God gave to my family. Our Christmas, 2007 was very special and the first New Year celebration was very happy and lots of food was prepared because it was my first time to celebrate. Everyone is happy especially my parents. And now, I am 1 year and 3 months old, I was very makulit and malikot. I know how to walk alone although in some cases I still need someone to guide me. I know how to dance, sing and even sing and dance together. I love watching cartoons. My mom collects Hello Kitty apparels for me. I love riding toys. Traveling makes me feel god and comfortable. Wherever my mom wants to go, I’m with her. To be continued to next issue… |
